Allergy Preventatives from Bio-Life, now available at Wood Street Veterinary Hospital and online at www.thevetpetshop.co.uk
The most common causes of allergies in people order of importance are dustmites, cats, dogs, pollens and moulds. According to Allergy UK around 72% of asthmatics react to cats and 38% to dogs.
Independent investigations into the effectiveness of the Bio-Life pet cleanser involving 106 patients revealed that over 97% of pet only allergic patients required little or no medication after 3 weeks of regular pet cleansing.
AirCleanse is a Eucalyptus, Ylang Ylang and surfactant based aerosol that reduces the airborne allergen load (in particular pollen and pet) by at least 65% and up to 85% when used with PetalCleanse.
HomeCleanse, the household spray with Eucalyptus and Quaternium salts, is especially recommended for the bedding and furnishings of dustmite allergy sufferers, and for pet bedding.
For dustmite allergy sufferers, once-per-month treatment is sufficient to ease the problem. For those with pets, a once-per-week treatment is recommeded along with PetalCleanse.
Petal Cleanse™ for cats and Petal Cleanse™ for dogs, are lotions composed of a delicate balance of cleansers and moisturisers. The cleansers gently remove the dander saliva and urine from the coat, and encapsulate the Fel d1, Can f1 and microscopic allergens. The moisturisers condition the coat and skin to further reduce the amount of material shed.
The instructions for use are very simple: Brush or comb your pet to remove any dead hair; Moisten a sponge or flannel with Petal Cleanse™; Wipe your pet with the moist sponge or cloth both with & against the coat; Dry with a towel.
The lotion must be used ONCE a WEEK to keep the level of allergen down to an acceptable level.
